About

Mission Statement

Holy Family Academy is a Catholic school dedicated to excellence in education and fidelity to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church. Holy Family Academy is committed to training each child in a holy manner that develops high standards of thinking and behavior, a well formed conscience, sound judgment, and self-discipline.

Our History

Holy Family School opened in 1958 and operated successfully until 1991 when, due to dropping enrollment and considerable facility needs, it was closed. In 1999, under the direction of Fr. Thomas Dufner, increasing appeals from parishioners with school-age children, much prayer, and the blessing of our Archdiocese, work began to re-open our parish school.

In 2001, newly refurbished and ready to meet the needs of a growing Catholic community, Holy Family Academy opened its doors to 58 students with the clear and defined mission to be a Catholic school dedicated to academic excellence and fidelity to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church. Since our re-opening in 2001, our student formation and school programs have multiplied exponentially, yet, in spite of our growth, one thing will never change ~ we are solidly planted on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Church He built and will forever remain dedicated to forming saints for the Kingdom of Heaven.
