April 12-16 2010
Dear Super Fantastic Kindergarten Parents,
Happy Easter to you and your families! Welcome back, as I am very excited to be back and with your amazing, beautiful and precious children again! We will continue to learn about long vowels in our Phonics Curriculum. A long vowel says its own name. A silent “e” at the end of a word makes the vowel before it long. This week we will be focusing on the long vowel “a, u, i, and o”. In Math this week, will be learning how to measure lengths using nonstandard units and covering designs using tangrams.
In Science, we will be learning about ho the weather changes with different seasons. In Social Studies, we will be learning about the continent North America and the different places that make North America special! In Religion, we will learn about the Easter Season and how it is a celebration of new life, that we receive from Jesus!
Have a blessed week! As always, please feel free to email me at alashinski@hfamn.org or call me at 952-925-9193 if you have any questions. Please allow me 24 hours to get back to you!
Blessings,
Miss Amy Lashinski
