April 19-23, 2010
Dear Incredible Kindergarten Parents,
Blessings to you all! We will be having a field trip to the MN Zoo on Friday, April 30th wit the Pre-K and 1st grade! More information will come home in your child’s folder this week with details of cost and time! Thanks!
We will continue to learn about long vowels, as this a hard concept for them to transfer in their little, but bright brains! A long vowel says its own name. A silent “e” at the end of a word makes the vowel before it long. In Math this week, we will be learning about the sphere, identifying a quarter and a dollar, along with sorting and ordering objects by size.
In Science, we will be reviewing and finishing our unit on the weather and different season. In Social Studies, we will be learning about the continent of South America and Europe! Along with the places that make them special like the Amazon Rain Forest, Andes Mountains, castles in Europe and Paris! In Religion, we will learn about God’s House-The Church and how it is a place of prayer and celebration!
As we continue in this Easter Season, know that you are all in my prayers and I am especially thankful for your prayers and support! As always, please feel free to email me at alashinski@hfamn.org or call me at 952-925-9193 if you have any questions. Please allow me 24 hours to get back to you!
Blessings,
Miss Amy Lashinski
