Dear Faithful Kindergarten Parents,
Peace of Christ to you! This is the last week of the 3rd quarter. We will be reviewing this week in Phonics and doing our final assessment on what we have learned this far in Phonics on Wednesday and Friday! A study packet came home on Friday; you can do this at home and don’t need to send it back to school. There will also be spelling words in addition to the review packet and a spelling test on Wed. and Fri. along with the spelling test for the review. I apologize for this, but also appreciate your understanding as we continue to keep on track with the curriculum. In Math this week, will be learning about tangrams, which is a square divided into seven pieces and used for geometry and spatial problem solving. There will only be homework for Math on Monday due to the Phonics review packet and additional spelling words to practice for the review.
In Science, we will be learning how we can observe changes in the weather and make a chart. In Social Studies, we will be reviewing directions N, E, S, W and the different continents! In Religion, we will continue to study the Stations of the Cross and the Lenten Season!
