Happy Mothers' Day to all of our Fifth Grade Mothers!  Thank you to all who joined us Thursday evening for the Academic Fair.  The students did a wonderful job orally presenting their excellent projects!  Thank you to all of you who shared your time, energy, prayers and treats to make the HFA teachers feel so special last week during Teacher Appreciation Week!

Our last confession opportunity during this school year will be Monday, May 10. 

This week in Fifth Grade:

Religion-  The Identity of the Church.  The students will need to explain the meaning of the Four Marks of the Church for Friday.

Science-  We will have a study guide on Energy on Wednesday and an Energy test on Thursday.

English- Our pronoun test is on Monday.  The rest of the week will be spent learning about Adverbs.

Spelling-  Unit 33 Spelling book pages due on Thursday.  Unit 33 Spelling test on Friday.

Reading-  We will work on a poetry unit; appreciating different forms of poetry.  100 Reading minutes are due on Friday.

Math-  Math Test on Monday.
