Once more, the wonderful parents of HFA amazed us with an incredible luncheon. The food was excellent, the desserts unbelievable, fantastic decorations, and a very thoughtful gift. But most important to me, is to see this group of parents so willing to spend time with us; with the best of their smiles, truly showing how much they care for us. Thank you so much!! And also a big “Thank You” to all the parents, that in one way or other, made this possible. God bless all of you in this precious season!

 
Time has passed so quickly since the beginning of the Second Quarter! Even faster when I do not see the students on a daily basis. Even though we are just one week from the Christmas break, we will still be learning new things during the coming week.
 
For the upcoming week:
 
5th Grade
 
We will go on praying our “Advent Prayer” at the beginning of class.
 
Study all the vocabulary related to the family. Take home all the worksheets and review them.
 
In the last 15 minutes of class we will be working on a “Nativity,” and practicing the Spanish vocabulary related to it.
 
 
4th Grade
 
We will be studying sentences with action verbs.
 
In the last 15 minutes of each class we will be working on a “Nativity,” and practicing the Spanish vocabulary related to it.
 
 
3rd Grade
 
Review the “Days of the week.” Test on Thursday 17th
 
We will learn the verb “to like” together with vocabulary related to food.
 
 
2nd Grade
 
Continue with colors and learning to use them in sentences according to noun gender.
