Track and Field Fast Approaching ~ Help Needed!!
Track and Field Day, Friday, May 28, is fast approaching! To date, 54 of the 200 students in Kindergarten through 8th grade have paid the $4.00 per student fee/$15.00 per family fee and returned the registration slip. We must receive the remainder by Wednesday, April 28. Please notify the office if your child will not be attending Track and Field Day so that we have accurate information as we finalize our plans for this fun day. A great number of parent/adult volunteers are still needed. Contact Elizabeth Hessian or the school office if you can help. All volunteers must have the Virtus Training and Background Check information completed before volunteering. Three other quick notes:
- We will be using Keystone Park this year (one block East of HFA on Alabama Ave. S.)
- We are working on offering sibling care in both the am and pm at the school. If you know someone interested in helping in this area, please call or email Elizabeth Hessian or the school office. The amount of sibling care depends on the number of volunteers we can secure that day.
- Parents of Kindergartners and First Graders have the option to pick their children up at school after lunch if they choose, as these grades return to school after lunch. Top
Rajan Update-Final Week of Fundraising for their New Home!
During Spring Break we received a lovely letter from Amutha, the mother of the Rajan family; it encouraged students to keep up their good work raising money for a new family home. To date we have collected about $1,200 of the $2,000 needed. Some of the ways students are collecting money include extra chores around the house, lemonade stands, and collecting door to door. An anonymous donor will match all donations made from now until April 30!! If each student were to donate $2.00 with the matching donation we would reach our goal. We will conclude collecting for the Rajan's on April 30 so we encourage students to bring in their donations soon. Thank you to all of the students and families who are doing works of mercy, offering sacrifices and working for the Rajans. Your efforts are making a difference here on earth and they are felt mightily in heaven.
Summer Tutoring Information
We have several Holy Family Academy teachers who are available to do academic tutoring during the summer months. Please see the tutoring flyer for who, what, when, and how much!! This year all communication will be directly with the tutor so please contact the tutor directly to set up tutoring and for payment questions.

We would like to thank all those who made Secretary/Administrative Assistant Day a fantastic day for us!! The PTO, on behalf of the HFA families, showered us with beautiful flowers and gifts, students and teachers wished us well and gave us blessings, a parent gave us flowers and big butterfly balloons, and our beloved boss took us out to lunch. We don't think that all secretaries/administrative assistants are treated as well us we are. We are truly blessed and grateful to be working with wonderful staff, students and parents! Thank you again and God bless you all!! ~ Mrs. Stewart and Mrs. Zangel Top
