Curriculum and Textbooks

Holy Family Academy is the parish school of Holy Family Catholic Church, and as such, is a Roman Catholic institution of the Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis. Thus, the spiritual, moral, intellectual, social and physical elements of education that we offer are taught within the context of the Catholic Faith. Holy Family Academy adheres to a traditional, well-balanced curriculum that includes Religion, Math, Language Arts (Phonics, Spelling, Grammar, Literature, Vocabulary, Penmanship, and Writing), History, Science, Music, Art, and the World Languages of Spanish in grades 1-5 and Latin in grades 6-8.

Catechesis in Sexuality Morality: The teachings of the Catholic Church require that there be a cooperative effort between parents and the school. Therefore, Holy Family Academy bases its program of catechesis in human sexuality and sexual morality solely upon Catholic teaching in conformity with the Papal Documents Familiaris Consortio and The Truth and Meaning of Human Sexuality.
